Old rest home for natives of Arizona. Big Nose Kate (who was Doc Holliday's squeeze for a time and was called Big Nose because she couldn't keep to her own business) was allowed to stay here even though she didn't technically qualify for the privilege. She was buried in the associated cemetery.

The name plaque at the Pioneer's Cemetery

Sharlot Hall's headstone. One of the very first Arizona historians. There will be a post on the Sharlot Hall museum tomorrow.

Sharlot Hall's parents

Big Nose Kate's grave is a shrine- there are playing cards and money everywhere. Mom and I left a quarter each for cards in the afterlife.

Real actual swinging doors at The Palace, where Doc Holliday once shanked a guy

Excellent neon in The Palace

Bar at the Palace. I couldn't get a picture of the whole thing (it was Mother's Day) but apparently when the town caught fire everyone pitched in and carried the bar into the street- where they continued drinking.

When we got to The Palace our booth was named for Big Nose Kate!

Awesome ceiling in The Palace

A collection of saddle straps in a store/museum on Whiskey Row

Wee gun in the same place
