Manresa Grotto

These lines represent the lap marks of the ancient Glacial Lake Colombia shoreline. This is the very same lake that covered the Spokane area during the last ice age. This grotto is almost two hours fast driving from my home in Spokane.

It's conglomerate rock: the holes are where pebbles used to be, but have been expanded by wave action.
